How did you get involved with wrestling?
My brother introduced me to wrestling when I was 7th grade.
What do you do professionally? Tell a little about your professional journey. Feel free to promote yourself or your company/business. Include website, etc.
I owned & operated my own business for 25+ years until I sold it in 2009, then worked for that company until 2012. I took a few years off and then bought a Proforma Franchise in 2015. In 2018, I merged with another Proforma Franchise out of Ohio and have been with them ever since.
What made you choose that path and why do you enjoy it?
The current path on I'm started because I wanted a change from my previous industry (audio/video production) and I always loved promotional products as well as apparel. And as a wrestling coach, I was always looking for vendors for my teams, so I decided to get into the business myself.
How did wrestling prepare you for your professional career? What were the intangible benefits you learned through the sport (discipline, goal-setting, commitment, resilience, etc)?
Wrestling has meant everything to me. It taught me discipline, dedication, setting and achieving goals, work ethic, etc. While you need additional skills and knowledge to be successful in business, the lessons learned in Wrestling are just as valuable and will stick with you forever.
