WIBN OCTOBER NEWSLETTER
Manheim, PA - On Behalf of the WIBN/National board members, I am thrilled to say that we have a few more WIBN chapters forming around the nation. On October 4, WIBN/Michigan hosted its inaugural event, which featured a college coaches & wrestlers panel comprised of many top Michigan collegiate coaches and wrestlers. Wealth Strategies Financial Group CEO, Mike Amine and his wife, Marcy, hosted the event. Many of the regional high school coaches were in attendance, and this is an event that all other WIBN chapters should try.
We also have additional groups of business leaders who are organizing WIBN chapters in Indianapolis, Indiana, Reading Pennsylvania, Allentown Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, to launch new WIBN Chapters. We have many impressive groups of business leaders involved with all of these emerging chapters. That said, all of these chapters could benefit from a few additional leaders to ensure their future sustainability. Those interested in serving on any of these boards can call Mike Moyer in the NWCA office at 717.330.2123, to be connected with the leadership of the desired chapter.
Our chapters are having many exciting events so make sure to check the EVENTS page on our website so you don’t miss an exciting gathering in your area. Recently, WIBN Atlanta had a chance of a lifetime to visit the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. The Cleveland and Delaware chapters hosted very successful golf outings while the North Carolina Triangle Chapter is hosting their 6th Annual Dinner and Social with Ohio St. Head Coach Tom Ryan as the featured Speaker this evening.
For those of you who would like to establish a WIBN chapter in your region, please contact Mike Moyer at 717.330.2123. The NWCA has a vast network of business leaders across the nation, and we are happy to connect our network with your network to establish a viable WIBN chapter board. Getting these chapters organized is essential to reconnect many wrestling alumni who have drifted away from our sport. Just imagine the potential of a national network of chapters situated in every region across the country.
Lastly, we promise to have the WIBN chapter agreements and playbooks ready for distribution soon. We have been a little delayed, but we are close to having everything finalized. We hope to have these out to you over the next week or so.
In closing, I want to thank all of our WIBN members across the nation for helping to ensure the sustainability of our local chapters. Please don’t hesitate to call our office if we can be of any assistance.
Sincerely, Mike
