WIBN NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER

Manheim, PA - I hope everyone is enjoying the start of another terrific wrestling season. I wanted to take this opportunity to recognize our Wrestlers in Business Network/Metro NY Chapter and its fearless leader, Richie Applebaum, along with his Board members for an extraordinary event they hosted on October 22 at the New York Athletic Club. Over 100 people were in attendance, and the event raised over $100,000 in support of college wrestling programs on Long Island. I had the privilege of attending the event, and hearing many inspiring messages that were delivered by some of our sport’s best ambassadors such as Coach Tom Ryan (Ohio State University) and NCAA Champion Joey McKenna. Anyone in attendance certainly left the dinner fully understanding that our coaches across the nation do so much more than teach technique. Our coaches also change lives as they leverage our sport to prepare young aspiring student-wrestlers for successful careers!!!!
