Atlanta WIBN 2023 High School Scholarship Program -CLOSED
The Wrestlers in Business Network – Atlanta Chapter Announces 3rd Annual Scholarship Program
The Atlanta Chapter of Wrestlers in Business (“Atlanta WIBN”) is pleased to announce that once again it intends to award a four year, $1,000 per year, college scholarship to a deserving Georgia high school senior in the wrestling community and who has benefited from his or her involvement with the sport.
The recipient does not necessarily need to have wrestled (he or she could be a scorekeeper, trainer, or even just a passionate fan), but must demonstrate the positive impact that wrestling has had on his or her high school experience.
Applicants should provide the following information (prepare to upload during the application process) to the Atlanta WIBN by June 1st:
1) High school transcript;
2) Resume showing, among other things, involvement in wrestling, other activities, and work experience;
3) A recommendation from a coach, guidance counselor or teacher; and
4) A short essay (less than 250 words), written by the applicant, describing what wrestling has meant to him or her, why the student is deserving of the scholarship and his or her plans for the future.
Atlanta WIBN looks forward to receiving applications from the Georgia high school community
